Trip to Mt. Rainier
Hello 'friends'!
As you might have guessed by the title of this entry (see above), I recently went on a trip to Mt. Rainier. Last Sunday, actually. And somewhere, I got the funny idea that anyone that even reads this would like to see some pictures. How silly!
Anyhow, I guess it wouldn't hurt anyone if I do (and if it does, I don't care), so here I go.

Panorama. Except not really, because I cheated and just cropped it.

This greatly amused me, if you can figure out why. And the only reason I'm posting it here is because my blog is an advertisement for my failure.

And here's a crapload of macros, which is primarily what I was doing there. I might be using some for my Ghosts photography (see previous caption).

I think I'm going to go do something useful, now.

Pictures from the last three "very enjoyable" days, including my much-wanted commentary.

Lakes. Reflections. Mountains. Again.

I desperately wanted to use that thing....

The picture of misery.

I hope you've figured out that the hike back wasn't all too pleasant.

View of Many Glacier Hotel (where I play NIN piano songs during dinner) from across the lake.

Meese !

And now, a much anticipated change of scenery....

And we're glad to be here...

I take it that would be beneath the snow...?

Home Sweet Home! ...oh, wait.

Hey Pigs
It's been about a month and I've avoided updating this thing, despite the fact there's many things that have happened that I should have mentioned. But you must have assumed that. You know how very interesting my life is. Yes, I thought so.
I'm completely thrilled right now because I managed to fix my website up. It used to flip out, ;o) ,whenever you turned it on using IE, but it's finally decided to behave! Yay. Something actually worked for once.
Anyways, school's obviously out, thank the gods. Sadly, I think this summer's moving by pretty fast, as I thought it would. What is it, July 5th already? Yeah, 4th of July yesterday. Fireworks are fun.
My mum and siblings left for Poland on the 24th of June, so they've been there for a while. My dad and I left for our backpacking trip, at Glacier NP, two days after them. We were supposed to stay for 10 days, but due to weather issues, it was only three. Plus 3 days in motels/hotels/etc.
I really feel like uploading two-hundred some pictures, so I'll post the first two or three days today, next ones tomorrow.

"Look Mummy, there's an X in the sky..."

The Many Glacier Hotel

I took a two hour trail ride at Many Glacier. We rode around a lake and through the forest. My horse was a little roan gelding.

View of the lake, off horseback.

Pony head.

The trail ride was all walking, but occasionally I slowed my horse back a bit and let him trot forward a few steps... XD

EDIT (6.5.08): It just occurred to me I completely forgot about Midsummer..... Haha =/

January Update
I Haven't had time to post much lately, but here's an update for the past few weeks...
Skiing: We went up to Snoqalmie Pass. So, pictures, basically. I tried to ski and take pictures at the same time, but I haven't quite mastered that yet XD [captions below pictures]

Ah, beauitful lol.

From the lift.

Meh.
Riding, two weeks ago: My last day doing community service hours. I love working at the barn, and might continue to come occasionally. I probably will more often in the summer, cause I usually have nothing to do XD. Anyways, I rode Ginger for the first time. She's a little poneh. Five years old (I'm not sure), so she's pretty green. Luckily, she didn't do her jump-three-feet-over-a-one-foot-x stunt, XD. I *really* liked riding her, and I hope and can soon again. And pictures:

Ginger.

Alex and I playing around. Does Ginger like Jolly Ranchers? XD
Riding, last Sunday: I rode Bullet this past weekend. He was such a retard [yet I still love him XD]. On the flat, he's so flipping lazy. Hardly listens to my leg, and I'm pretty much pushing him along every step. And the crop when necessary. I have to admit, we did the cantering nicely. Good forward pace, and we went around the ring several times without him breaking. He got really hyper when we started jumping though. I can feel when he starts getting jumpy. He runs over the poles as if they were a lot higher than they actually were. He jumps the caveletti like they were actual jumps. And he canters up to the x and leaps over it, even though it's like a foot high =P I need to learn to control him......

In the stall. He was intensely interested in his hay so it was hard to get it attention to the camera.

Hay......

"Bullet... stand still now..."
"But, but... the GRASS!"
"No... stay. Just one second,"
"I - I want the grass,"
"Just one picture...."
XD

Using the self-timer on the camera. Again, the food was all he cared about at the time, so it was hard to get a good picture....

I love this picture. I wish he could get his head out of there for a second though >.<
That's pretty much it. The snow [ice] has melted. At least we had a late start today. I love sleeping in.....
