Aspengrove [Week II]
Here's the second half of the story... [With better quality images. Somehow I screwed up the last ones....].

Weekend
Day 7:
Early Saturday morning we set up jumps and jumped them ourselves.... XD

Claire, Miranda, Michelle, and Audrey.

Lester, the suicidal snake. He's my new best friend, but I'll stop there....

Water on the Trampoline

Day 8:
The weekend was sure enjoyable; mucking out paddocks for candy and playing horse monopoly for hours on end, but Sunday evening brought an end to that, and we had our weekly stampede.

Day 10:
My new horse Coffee! I actually rode a horse named Dusty for 1 lesson, but our teacher decided that Xanthe, who was riding Coffee, and me, should switch. Coffee did prove to be a better horse for me. Love himm.

Helen, now riding Saphron.

Kiddo... walking around randomly....

Coffee and I.

Fred.

Chloe's gorgeous tail....

Day 11:
Coffee.

Janet and Chloe.

Olga and Smokey.

Edgar.

Raleigh [Haven't seen much of him lately!] and Irish.

Coffee looking sexy.

Audrey and Joe.

I'm having issues uploading videos, so I don't know if I'll get any. If not, you can be spared the sight of my awful, awful jumping course in the show. I messed up in both shows.. but hey, I did get 1st in the flat class.
Concert pictures up very soon! =D

Aspengrove [Week I]
If anyone at all payed any attention to this site, they would have noticed that I have been gone for some time. Not that I imagine anyone does... But anyways, I spent the last two weeks in BC, at Aspengrove. [And the Nails concert was last night !]. So I've got a load of pictures to put up here that I hope you'll all enjoy. After discovering the "Process Multiple Files" function in my PS, I don't think it should take too long, so here we go ;o)

Week 1
Day 1:
Taking a walk through Kelowna.

After six hours on the road.... Here we are!

Pony field.

Day 2:
Raleigh, the foal, and Irish, his mum. He was about three weeks old when I first met him,

Marissa and Banner.

Emily and Dutchess. She's an insanely fat pony with legs too short for her, but man, she can move!

Carly, my horse. She was a little lazy and liked to drift, but once you got her going properly, she could jump pretty nicely.

Trampoline.

Day 3:
Raleigh.

Moose, the miniature poneh. We got to hand-jump him over the weekend. He bit me, and stepped on my toe [when I was wearing flip flops] =P

Day 4:
Lesson.... We had two daily, each about an hour long.
Trianna riding Saphron.

Celine riding Chief.

Sasha on Hawkeye

Chantel on Scooter.

Me and Carly.

Day 4:
More Raleigh

Day 5:
Chloe braided his ears XD

Carly and I.

Marissa and Banner.

Helen and Alix.

Morgan and Caroline.

Sasha and Hawkeye.

Chantel and Scooter.

Day 6:
Showday. I had a horrible jumping round and equitation session =P

Emily and Dutchess.

Kiddo is so gorgeous...... I wanted to ride him =]

Miranda and Eddie.

Natasha and Smokey [or Oli...?]

Chloe and Saucey.

Jen and Pocket.

Kim and Profit.

Duchess.

Scooter rolled in his paddock after it rained. He used to be so white....

Week II coming soon, as well as NIN concert pictures ;o)

Temporarily Under Construction
Ok... the website going to be messed up for a while because I've become bored with the brown colour scheme. Don't know if the new one will stay or not. Depends on if the banner I'm making to match it turns out any good or if something else pisses me off. Like the fact that my blog does not cooperate with IE. I can't blame it, but I know there's a lot of IE users out there who have not yet been enlightened with the creation of Firefox. I wonder how it looks on Safari......
Anyways, a quick update. I had a lesson yesterday with George. (I think Liz was taking a day off or something). He's kind of odd, but a REALLY great teacher. We spent most of the lesson working on our position over jumps. We also did some no-stirrup work. I rode Norman, and he was pretty good.
School is out on the 18th. I was done with school like a month ago, so I'm barely moving along..... Nine more days......

Another Day at the Barn
Hello, hello. I'm enjoying my four day weekend. Yesterday, I spent nearly my entire day at the barn. Sooo, I have a load of pictures that I'm sure, the world is eagerly awaiting to see. Enjoy: (captions on top)

Holli riding Bullet

Harry again. He was amazing yesterday. He's improved a ton since he first came here. We got to do three different jumping courses, and he went over them beautifully. Under control the entire time. Just once, when we went over a bright blue wave jump for the first time, he got a bit excited and leaped over it XD.

My Exciting Life
I thought you'd all love to know how exciting my life really is.
I did manage to buy the NIN tickets yesterday. In fact, here's one of them!

I'm beyond excited. I can't even put it in words...
I also learned how to play 1 Ghosts I on the piano. Yeah, I know. I'm obsessed.
Moving On...
Riding lesson today! Last week I rode a new horse named Harry. He's a retired eventer, and his previous owner stuck him a field for like a year, so he's sure a nutjob. I love riding him though. Liz says I'll probably be riding him more. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of Harry, but here's a few of Norman and me, two weeks ago, I think?
(Captions on bottom. Please ignore all the retarded expressions =P)

Trotting

Trotting again, I guess

Norman and I
Here's a few pictures from several weeks ago. The weather was nice, so we rode outside, and my mum came to take pictures. The weather isn't so nice anymore. It randomly started to snow yesterday o.O

Practicing our no-stirrup exercises in the walk.

Trotting.

Cantering... I think.

Norman
Sunday, I rode Norman. He's fairly new to the barn, so I hadn't ridden him before this weekend. He's a gorgeous chestnut TB. A sexy poneh XD. Not exactly the most polite horse ever though. He likes to kick and bite and is really sensitive in his girth area. Apparently, he always wants the attention on him, which I noticed later on.
I had a great ride on him. He's just the kind of horse I like riding. Very energetic, but a bit crazy sometimes. [I hate riding lazy, unresponsive horses >.<]. We did w/t/c stuff, then a few x's. Linda says I rode him very well. I'm glad, and hopefully I can ride him again soon. Him, or Ginger.
I left my camera at home for no good reason, so no pictures =P

Goldie - At my last lesson
Last Sunday I rode Goldie. I love her. We had a new teachers, I dunno if she is staying or not. But anyways, we worked on some no-stirrup stuff for a bit, then jumped a few xrails/did poles. We also cantered, and worked on simple changes of lead. Cantering Goldie is amazing. She's my favourite to canter on, lol.
It was really rainy that day. There was tons of mud and puddles outside. When I was leading Goldie back to her stall, we stepped outside, and she slipped in the mud, and fell to her knees. O.O Thankfully, it didn't seem like she was hurt (I checked her knees later), but she was rather freaked out, and so was I.
Here's some pictures:

Out in her stall.

Stall again. Sorry for the crappy image quality >.<

When we were grooming.

And here's pony. Adorable.
That's all for now. This weekend, there isn't any lessons cause we have a clinic. I'm gonna go watch, probably Sunday. I'll probably take some pictures, unless it's too dark =P.
