In The Flowers
Okay, first of all, screw the thing about "happiness" from my last entry. I'm so good at jinxing that kind of thing. -_-
But... here are the photos from Skagit Valley. I'm mostly putting up the ones I took with my mum's Nikon D200 cause it just kicks ass.

There's an odd coloured tulip every so often.

And here's a few with my camera:
I really loved the shadows they made.

Me with my mum's camera :D

A Little Mental Yoga
Okay, so I realize it's been a while. I actually can't even remember what I last wrote about (probably something uninteresting)... Oh, right... Sasquatch. Well, I have better news this time! I may not be going to see NIN/JA, of Montreal, and AC, but this June I will see Alessandro Cortini's band Modwheelmood (he's from NIN)!

That's my sexy guitar in the background ;D
He's also got another side project called blindoldfreak. The first album "1" was really nice, definitely worth checking out!
But moving on from music... This weekend, I did a sketch of Rob Sheridan's "Broken Robot Girl" photograph. He's just about my favourite artist and I love robots (so does he!!!) so I really couldn't resist. If I'm violating some copyright that prevents me from reproducing this in any way... Sorry, I'm just a big fan of your work ;D And I can't wait to see the next photos in the series. Anyways, here it is:

I know I don't have the face right at all, but it was really fun to draw.
Aside from that stuff... things have still been pretty chaotic... Some mixed up feelings about things which I will not go into detail about. Bleh... A teenage life ;)

Ágćtis Byrjun Pumpkin
This was definitely worth the hours put in.

Thanks to my mum for the photo ;o)

Trip to Mt. Rainier
Hello 'friends'!
As you might have guessed by the title of this entry (see above), I recently went on a trip to Mt. Rainier. Last Sunday, actually. And somewhere, I got the funny idea that anyone that even reads this would like to see some pictures. How silly!
Anyhow, I guess it wouldn't hurt anyone if I do (and if it does, I don't care), so here I go.

Panorama. Except not really, because I cheated and just cropped it.

This greatly amused me, if you can figure out why. And the only reason I'm posting it here is because my blog is an advertisement for my failure.

And here's a crapload of macros, which is primarily what I was doing there. I might be using some for my Ghosts photography (see previous caption).

I think I'm going to go do something useful, now.

Seattle at Night
I was going to be retarded and call this "Lights in Seattle" but I decided to spare the world, and think of something relatively normal that would not reflect how low I really have gone. [Which is pretty low, in case you were wondering].
So here, behold, are my great efforts to create somewhat decent images with my not-too-decent camera. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating, and they're really not that bad, but I need a new camera. Seriously. [Captions on top as usual]
Ferris Wheel

I played with this one on PS a bit more than the others, just to make it look more interesting.

Not quite dark yet.

Twirly thing.

I'm not too found of the stuff at the bottom. It would be nicer if I could zoom in a bit more, but my camera's not talented enough.

I wanted both the ferris wheel and the merry-go-round to spin at the same time, but the world was against me. Once again.

Funny angle, but it actually looks pretty neat...

I keep thinking of orange and lemon slices when I look at this. I wonder if something's wrong with me.

One of my favourites.

Sorry, I'm out of creative captions. Not that any of the others were particularly clever...

The day I discovered "painting with light". O god.

I love this.

The light looks like little bits of confetti... XD

Again prints of all these photos are available...
Have a nice day.

I desperately wanted to use that thing....

The picture of misery.

I hope you've figured out that the hike back wasn't all too pleasant.

View of Many Glacier Hotel (where I play NIN piano songs during dinner) from across the lake.

Meese !

And now, a much anticipated change of scenery....

And we're glad to be here...

I take it that would be beneath the snow...?

Home Sweet Home! ...oh, wait.

Retaining sanity as we cross a bridge...

Along the trail...

Hey Pigs
It's been about a month and I've avoided updating this thing, despite the fact there's many things that have happened that I should have mentioned. But you must have assumed that. You know how very interesting my life is. Yes, I thought so.
I'm completely thrilled right now because I managed to fix my website up. It used to flip out, ;o) ,whenever you turned it on using IE, but it's finally decided to behave! Yay. Something actually worked for once.
Anyways, school's obviously out, thank the gods. Sadly, I think this summer's moving by pretty fast, as I thought it would. What is it, July 5th already? Yeah, 4th of July yesterday. Fireworks are fun.
My mum and siblings left for Poland on the 24th of June, so they've been there for a while. My dad and I left for our backpacking trip, at Glacier NP, two days after them. We were supposed to stay for 10 days, but due to weather issues, it was only three. Plus 3 days in motels/hotels/etc.
I really feel like uploading two-hundred some pictures, so I'll post the first two or three days today, next ones tomorrow.

"Look Mummy, there's an X in the sky..."

Hay bales. There were so many of them

Little barn.

Alien

Mountain Views

Sheep!

The Many Glacier Hotel

I took a two hour trail ride at Many Glacier. We rode around a lake and through the forest. My horse was a little roan gelding.

View of the lake, off horseback.

Pony head.

The trail ride was all walking, but occasionally I slowed my horse back a bit and let him trot forward a few steps... XD

EDIT (6.5.08): It just occurred to me I completely forgot about Midsummer..... Haha =/
