In This Twilight
We got there a bit late, so we missed most of Crystal Castles' performance. And frankly I'm not too upset about that... I do admit to liking two of their songs [Crimewave and Alice Practice], but they kind of scare me.
Anyways, NIN was AMAZING. They played lot of my favourite songs [and I have to say, Year Zero is now finally starting to grow on me] and the light show was spectacular. Apart from there being some idiots in the audience, it was an awesome night.
Since I'm very talented, I took my camera in with me and got some kickass pictures....
Robin, Josh, and that nine inch nails guy..... whatshisface... oh, right, Trent ;o)

Alessandro, Trent, half of Robin, and you can even sort of see Justin [far left].

Justin, Alessandro, Trent and Robin.

Straight from the crowd.

He lost an arm. Poor guy.

Why does Justin always stare up at the sky?

Nevermind.

Terrible Lie, I think...?

Trent showing off his awesome guitar skillz.

Survivalism, with a live 'music-video-like' visuals. We got to see a lady pee, people walking around, and creepy closeups of Trent screaming. Yay.

Love the lighting.

I guess they decided it's cool to hide from the audience behind a screen for half the show.

Pink.

Head Like A Hole, or The Hand That Feeds or something weird like that.

Pink again...?

Bow down before the one you serve....

Echoplex.

That ends my album of amazing pictures. Please contact me at amazingphotography@anna.sapek.com to purchase full size prints of any of the above shown images..

Oh, by the way, I'm renaming the site as "Pretty Hate Machine". Stay tuned to watch me screw up my website again!

Aspengrove [Week II]
Here's the second half of the story... [With better quality images. Somehow I screwed up the last ones....].

Weekend
Day 7:
Early Saturday morning we set up jumps and jumped them ourselves.... XD

Claire, Miranda, Michelle, and Audrey.

Lester, the suicidal snake. He's my new best friend, but I'll stop there....

Water on the Trampoline

Day 8:
The weekend was sure enjoyable; mucking out paddocks for candy and playing horse monopoly for hours on end, but Sunday evening brought an end to that, and we had our weekly stampede.

Day 10:
My new horse Coffee! I actually rode a horse named Dusty for 1 lesson, but our teacher decided that Xanthe, who was riding Coffee, and me, should switch. Coffee did prove to be a better horse for me. Love himm.

Helen, now riding Saphron.

Kiddo... walking around randomly....

Coffee and I.

Fred.

Chloe's gorgeous tail....

Day 11:
Coffee.

Janet and Chloe.

Olga and Smokey.

Yes, we're all sane here.

Day 12:
Jumping..

Chelsea and Pocket.

Olga and Smokey.

Me and Coffee.

Xanthe and Dusty.

Day 13: [I'm getting the feeling I miscounted something here....]
Showday!
Edgar.

Raleigh [Haven't seen much of him lately!] and Irish.

Coffee looking sexy.

Audrey and Joe.

I'm having issues uploading videos, so I don't know if I'll get any. If not, you can be spared the sight of my awful, awful jumping course in the show. I messed up in both shows.. but hey, I did get 1st in the flat class.
Concert pictures up very soon! =D

Aspengrove [Week I]
If anyone at all payed any attention to this site, they would have noticed that I have been gone for some time. Not that I imagine anyone does... But anyways, I spent the last two weeks in BC, at Aspengrove. [And the Nails concert was last night !]. So I've got a load of pictures to put up here that I hope you'll all enjoy. After discovering the "Process Multiple Files" function in my PS, I don't think it should take too long, so here we go ;o)

Week 1
Day 1:
Taking a walk through Kelowna.

After six hours on the road.... Here we are!

Pony field.

Day 2:
Raleigh, the foal, and Irish, his mum. He was about three weeks old when I first met him,

Marissa and Banner.

Emily and Dutchess. She's an insanely fat pony with legs too short for her, but man, she can move!

Carly, my horse. She was a little lazy and liked to drift, but once you got her going properly, she could jump pretty nicely.

Trampoline.

Day 3:
Raleigh.

Moose, the miniature poneh. We got to hand-jump him over the weekend. He bit me, and stepped on my toe [when I was wearing flip flops] =P

Day 4:
Lesson.... We had two daily, each about an hour long.
Trianna riding Saphron.

Celine riding Chief.

Sasha on Hawkeye

Chantel on Scooter.

Me and Carly.

Day 4:
More Raleigh

Day 5:
Chloe braided his ears XD

Carly and I.

Marissa and Banner.

Helen and Alix.

Morgan and Caroline.

Sasha and Hawkeye.

Chantel and Scooter.

Day 6:
Showday. I had a horrible jumping round and equitation session =P

Emily and Dutchess.

Kiddo is so gorgeous...... I wanted to ride him =]

Miranda and Eddie.

Natasha and Smokey [or Oli...?]

Chloe and Saucey.

Jen and Pocket.

Kim and Profit.

Duchess.

Scooter rolled in his paddock after it rained. He used to be so white....

Week II coming soon, as well as NIN concert pictures ;o)

I desperately wanted to use that thing....

The picture of misery.

I hope you've figured out that the hike back wasn't all too pleasant.

View of Many Glacier Hotel (where I play NIN piano songs during dinner) from across the lake.

Meese !

And now, a much anticipated change of scenery....

And we're glad to be here...

I take it that would be beneath the snow...?

Home Sweet Home! ...oh, wait.

Glacier National Park 2
Continued from yesterday. Click below to see all

More Mountains.

Cow stampede. Livestock literally roamed the roads in Montana as if they were their own fields. We had to be careful not to hit any...

The first hiking day. Ten miles down to Elizabeth. Down. We already knew back up would be a killer...

Rest Stop

Retaining sanity as we cross a bridge...

Along the trail...

Tent at Elizabeth Lake... Home of the killer mosquitoes.....

Lake Elizabeth

Deer

Mornin' Laundry

Freezing water. Can't get in past your knees.

The "Icebox"

Pumping Icebox water.

A tribute to our Gods.

Walking through snowfields on a day hike. (We stayed three nights at Elizabeth).

Another bridge.

Froggy. Or toad....?

Swans and the lake.

"Looney"

Surprise, surprise. Lake again....

Back through the snowfields.

The several-month-old corpse of a... Oh, maybe you don't want to know....

After the discovery of our long lost buddy, we pump water from above, not below....

Hey Pigs
It's been about a month and I've avoided updating this thing, despite the fact there's many things that have happened that I should have mentioned. But you must have assumed that. You know how very interesting my life is. Yes, I thought so.
I'm completely thrilled right now because I managed to fix my website up. It used to flip out, ;o) ,whenever you turned it on using IE, but it's finally decided to behave! Yay. Something actually worked for once.
Anyways, school's obviously out, thank the gods. Sadly, I think this summer's moving by pretty fast, as I thought it would. What is it, July 5th already? Yeah, 4th of July yesterday. Fireworks are fun.
My mum and siblings left for Poland on the 24th of June, so they've been there for a while. My dad and I left for our backpacking trip, at Glacier NP, two days after them. We were supposed to stay for 10 days, but due to weather issues, it was only three. Plus 3 days in motels/hotels/etc.
I really feel like uploading two-hundred some pictures, so I'll post the first two or three days today, next ones tomorrow.

"Look Mummy, there's an X in the sky..."

Hay bales. There were so many of them

Little barn.

Alien

Mountain Views

Sheep!

The Many Glacier Hotel

I took a two hour trail ride at Many Glacier. We rode around a lake and through the forest. My horse was a little roan gelding.

View of the lake, off horseback.

Pony head.

The trail ride was all walking, but occasionally I slowed my horse back a bit and let him trot forward a few steps... XD

EDIT (6.5.08): It just occurred to me I completely forgot about Midsummer..... Haha =/
