My First English Riding Lesson

Today was my first english riding lesson at Futurity Farms. I had to get used a lot of things because it was different than western riding. First of all I had to sit in a different saddle and use a different bridle. Next there were the stirrups. I had to keep on the tip of my boot instead of in the middle of it. And of course I had to ride a different horse. It was a bay gelding. Later on my instructor told me I would be riding a different horse. The different horse was a pinto. All white with black ears as if there was a dark cloth on them. It wasn't exactly starting over. I still got to walk, trot, and canter. But this time around the whole arena. It is much slower in english, but my instructor say's that's the way it feels because I rode much faster in English. My new instructor is really nice. Her name is Beryl. I can't wait till my next riding lesson.
