About Me

Hello there! My name is Anna. I like music, photography, and Iceland. I was born in Poland, but moved to the States when I was just a few years old. Right now I'm a 15 year old sophomore at Inglemoor High School in Kenmore, WA working towards an IB diploma. Beginning next year I will be writing for Inglemoor's award winning school paper, The Nordic News.

I'm somewhat artistic like my brother and my mum. I do enjoy photography and drawing, but music is my greatest passion. I’m a self taught pianist and I also play guitar. But I kind of suck at making music, so I prefer listening to it, which you've probably figured out by reading through this blog. Post-rock and shoegaze are my two favourite genres, but I listen to a variety of music. I'm always trying to find something new. Feel free to suggest me something. This is my last.fm.

I'm not sure what exactly what this blog is about. Most of the time I write about music: new albums, shows, news. I love the modern music scene. But I think it's less of a generic music blog and more of a personal one. I write it mainly for myself, whether as an outlet for random things on my mind, or a just as an attempt to improve my writing. It's for fun. But, if you happen to stumble across something that isn’t completely forgettable, or perhaps even interesting to you, well… I’ll award you some indie points and maybe even a virtual high five!
